With
a wonderful donation of organically produced seeds from Irish Eyes Garden Seed,
we have assembled these useful seed assortments, with helpful themes like the Juicer’s
Blend-
nutritious veggies for juicing and fresh eatin’, and the Forager’s Garden, full of tough and
unusual greens for the hearty gardener of the Pacific Northwest. There is also
the Three Sisters Sustenance seed blend- mixtures of Corn/Squash and Beans
for great vegetarian protein sources, and the Fall Keeper’s Blend full of hardy veggies
that are either root crops to be fall dug, mixed with Chard or Kale varieties
that stand through the “tough” winters or Bellingham.
The “Single” gardens contain just one of these seed bundles of 6 packets. The “Doubles” have 2, and so forth. They are priced at a bargin price, because, well, frankly they were packed for 2008, and then donated to us. They have been properly stored, and seed germination should be very close to normal. For a very reasonable donation you get a deal. Lots of viable seed, in really beautiful handcrafted boxes, locally made by volunteers with special donated woods from cabinetry scraps from our very own John Blethen. Because….
